Lovely out-of-the-way house Stayed with a group of friends. Very pleasant and good value. Old wooden house but renovated with beautiful luxurious furniture and fittings. Private bathroom. Good aircon. The staffs were amazing and helpful… always with smiles.

Amazing traditional Enkosa house is a wonderful old wooden house which has been renovated and modernized. Beautiful and clean with private shower rooms. Every bit as good as a five-star hotel room. There is a small pool for cooling off. Not for swimming. And a dining area and bar where they serve delicious breakfasts.

I truly enjoyed my stay in that villa. All facilities are great and the mix between khmer and western style create a unique environment that is really peaceful.
The staff is welcoming and has been organizing the whole journey for us. I was a bit afraid to see that there was no swimming pool but the jacuzzi offer a good alternative and still allow you to enjoy a lazy water time ! Highly recommended !

The villa was great and the staff were very hospitable. The whole itinerary is very reasonable. After a day’s play, I am very happy to be able to return here to rest quietly and spend a good night.

I ‘ liked my stay at Sampeah Retreat Villa, not far from downtown Siem reap, in a quiet location with good facilities, nice interior design and a well flowered garden where it is more than ‘ pleasant to relax with a jacuzzi available. Good breakfast with attentive staff to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
A perfect place to have a good stay in Siem reap either for solo or family.

Helpful concierge – Historic building – Quiet rooms

Athakon House was an amazing place to book for my group of friends and for a party. It’s the first time I’ve booked a large property on Airbnb, and Tim the manager offered loads of excellent support and knowledge that made for an excellent trip. The Khmer inspired property – with a large central open air social/dining space, with private rooms on the four corners offered a convivial space with privacy as you want.
The design makes the best of airflow, with a large dining table, a pool table and loads of space to lounge. The lovely pool was a great place to hang (and it being all yours you can swim uninterrupted day or night). Cambodia offers great value for your travel dollar. Tim acted as a concierge with loads of assistance in organizing events (we created a fantastic itinerary and had lots of happy friends). The villa comes with boat access as well – all part of the service that makes for a fantastic holiday! As well, Kim and the on site staff made amazing Khmer food when we needed, kept the villa immaculately clean and were always there with drinks and breakfast (great coffee and bread!).
It was an amazing place to stay – our own private boutique hotel.
Highly recommended!

Stayed in Athakon house with small kids. The house is amazing, better than the pictures. The staff is super attentive and service is fenomenal. Rooms are spacious, super clean and comfortable.
We wished we had more time to enjoy the house. Breakfast is provided and always delicious. They also prepared special dinners when requested, better than in a restaurant.
We will be back for sure!!! Thank you Tim, Savy and the rest of the staff.

We stayed at Athakon House in March 2022 and it was fantastic. The house is beautiful and extremely well designed, both the layout and the internal/external design and furnishings. Thoughtful Khmer-influenced accents are everywhere. At the same time the place is great for families and kids (our group was two families). There was plenty of space on lawns around the house to run and in the central outdoor living room area to get out of the sun and the pool and patio area were great to return to after hot days seeing the temples at Angkor Wat.
Tim the host was easy to work with before arrival and answered all our questions and checked on us multiple times while we were there to make sure all was well.
And Savy the concierge, and Kim and the rest of the team at the house were great as well. They helped us plan tours and arrange rides and gave advice about things to do and provided delicious meals and in general were very attentive. To summarize, another reviewer said it was like having their own personal boutique hotel and we couldn’t agree more.
